Looking for yarn shops within biking distance of the KATY trail.

My wife drug me into a little crafts shop in historical St. Charles last weekend, first street away from the river parallel to the trail. It seemed like a nice enough place with some "quaint" items and unusual yarns and such.

Grand opening!

I can't speak for the St. Louis end of the Trail, but not to my knowledge. I teach knitting and
crochet in Kansas City and so, it is something I would have noticed (you would think). Most
of the little towns along the way have a bar, a post office, a church or two and some houses
and that is about it. I don't know Columbia well enough to know if there are any yarn shops
there or not...maybe someobody here knows.

There is a great yarn and fiber studio--in fact two shops under one ownership in Columbia. The Carol Leigh's Hillcreek Fiber Studio (or something like that. Loads of beautiful yarns. Have fun!
