A charming but very quiet little town, mid-week in July. We stayed at Anchor Mills B&B, a delightful house with a warm and welcoming hostess in Kathleen Turner. Excellent breakfast food and coffee! Be sure to have food available for an evening meal though, as all the eateries in town close around 5pm mid-week. Cafe Bella is a nice place to eat.

Be sure also to have bug repellent ready, as a drainage ditch runs alongside the Trail here and the biters are out in force. The wineries are well worth a visit.
