24hr Ride from St. Louis on 5/26/2009 7:22:50 PM:
I am planning to ride the entire Katy Trail in under 24 hrs in mid June. Does anyone know if there are any problems with the trial? Are any bridges out, and if there are bridges out is there a way to get around them and continue the ride? Is any parts of the trail flooded? And any other problems you can think of, please let me know. Thanks a lot and thank you for your time.

I just got back from the trail yesterday. We took four day from Clinton to St Charles. The trail was in great shape.

24 hours? Wow!

You're going to ride the trail in the dark? Is that safe? Is that even
legal?

Good luck!

The park is closed at night.....so no it's not legal to ride at night. Although, the poster did not say that they were going to do it continuous.

Riders can squeeze out a lot of daylight in June with an early start.
