Stopped in Peers just before a hail storm began. Four of us on the trip, only two made it to Peers grocery in time. We ate some great pizza while talking with the girl running the place while our friends were held up under a boat club house during the storm. Store is great, one of those unique visits on the Katy Trail. I'd stop whether you need something or not.
