Twice this year I have stayed at the Ramada Inn 573-635-7171. They have a Katy Special & free shuttle service from/to trailhead, ask about free Breakfast buffet coupon (during week only). Restaurant is moderately priced, very good food. No guest laundry but they said there was one about 1-1/2 miles away. It did take us longer to get shuttled back to the trailhead this time because they were busier...but it was free.
