What can I say, this was truly a favorite stop!! Doug's home is
homey, clean and comfortable and we had such a good time with him and
our fellow house guests! His dog Honey is just the sweetest! Doug is
very knowledgeable about the biking the trail and he gave us some
great advice. The evening we arrived he made us an incredible dinner
of pot roast and vegetables, then built a bonfire and entertained us
with hilarious stories that mostly seemed to start with, "Well, we'd
been drinking...". We slept really well in a very comfortable bed
and woke the next morning to a great breakfast of delicious french
toast! It was pouring rain that day and we took Doug up on his offer
to drive us up the road to our next stop. Thanks Doug, we will definitely be coming back!!!
