The Amtrak guide says long-term parking is free but I wonder if it's wise, say for five days? Any suggestions other than using a motel or B&B?

Of course bad things can happen anywhere, but I don't hesitate to park there and have never had a problem. Then again, I'm not parking a Lexus with $100 bills on the dash and a $2000 laptop on the front seat either.
