We stayed at the Hotel Bothwell our 1st night. We rode AMTRAK to Sedalia and the hotel was just a few blocks from there. The train was late, so the restaurant stayed open just to serve us. The family suite had 2 bedrooms and was very nicely appointed. Plus there is a discount for Katy trail riders which made our day! I would definitely go back.
