bike access from 40/61 to KATY trail

Is there an easy bike access from 40/61 down to the KATY trail??...I'll be riding from 40/61 into St Charles & don't want to ride on 94. Or is there a better route??

Absolutely! Exit on Research Park, just a mile or two east of 94. Follow south till the road T's, then take the left towards the waste treatment facility. The Katy is .75 miles down a paved shady path accessed from the parking lot. You can't miss it.
