Home from work today with a fairly nasty cold. I really want to ride this weekend, though. For all you riders, would you let a head cold keep you from hitting the trail?

It's risky. But you need to stay bundled-up and warm. Any chilling effects don't help. :) Good luck.

Listen to your body. If it's telling you it doesn't feel up to a ride you're better off not. If you do, I would just take it easier.

I would ride with a head cold, stomach ache, body and rear aches and cramps, but not dehydration symptoms. That will be $300 for a forum visit.
