Can you leave your vehicle overnight at the trailhead sites along Katy Trail? Do you need to have permission from anyone? Thanks in advance for any helpful information.

Yes, you can leave your vehicle overnight at the state park trailheads. It doesn't require permission to do so.....that's what they're for either day or night use. I've left my car at several trailheads and have never had an issue.

I would be hesitant to leave my car overnight at the JC trailhead. Our group has had several cars broken into when parked there after dark. If I was wanting to park at JC I would use one of the parking lots at the Capitol complex just across the bridge. They are patroled by the Capitol Police.
