Theres any good place to hide and camp in this strech of the trail?

Not sure what section of the trail that is post refers to, but 'hiding' and camping on the trail itself is not allowed. If you click on trip planner above and select 'camping' it will give you a list of all the camping areas near the trail. Some of the towns also allow camping in the city parks.
