Just stayed in Sedalia and drove to Clinton to get started on the trail. There is a bridge out and being rebuilt near Calhoun. A little detour to get around the bridge, but not more than 6 or 7 miles out of the way. BTW, you will go under the bridge on the way and see the incredibly deteriorated condition it was in. Nice to know that many bridges in the USA look like this. Pretty scary actually!!!
