Camping in Sedalia

The campground at Sedalia and it was closed when we were there in Oct and Nov this year. Is there anywhere close to the trail to camp were you can have a campfire? We did the New Franklin KATY Roundhouse 2 different times and it was great. Wish there were more along the trail like the Roundhouse. Would rather ride to the campground on my bike, though it is nice to park set-up camp and ride out and back.

At The Rendleman Home at mm 110.8 not only can you have a fire, I supply the wood. You might have to drag some kindling out of the woods tho.

Hey Doug! We are looking at adding you to our stops. We are thinking of starting at Clinton riding to Sedalia, jumping on the train to Herman and riding your way for the first night and then back east to Augusta and back to Bluffton and then back west to Clinton. 2nd week in June? Maybe. Part of fighting cabin fever it planning rides. Another ride would be to put in at New Franklin to Bluffton overnight and back. But that's a work in progress.
