Ocassionly in life we experience things special.
Joey's Birdhouse B&B, Just North of Hermann, on the Katy Trail in McKittrick, treated us so special. Ive stayed at B&B's for decades, but Joey and Rich made our experince above and beyond. Now the room is not full of fru-fru or antiuqes, but I dare you to find any other place the B&B owner will let you throw clay in her ceramics studio, invite you to the local live music show, AND take you there and spend the evening, cook homemade kutchen (german bread pudding) with baked cinammon apples, homemade cherry jam, and yes serve real butter. Joeys is the best B&B experience we have had in a long long time. Some people just care, and enjoy showing their hearts. -My hat is off to Joey. Ron Helmick 785-550-0083. Feb. 2012.

Thank you Ron and Karen, The best part of being a B&B owner is all of the really nice people I've met from all over the country. I am so happy to have finally started working in the ceramic studio.
