Trying clicking on the "St Charles" link in the map above or use the trip planner to find places to stay. "A good place" to stay is pretty much a judgement call by each individual. We all know so little about you, it would be difficult to assume what it is that you might call "a good" place to stay.

Comfort Suites by Ameristar Casino is a good place that the Katy ride uses every other year. You can park your car and ride to the trail less than a mile away.

I've stayed at the Country Inns Hotel a couple of times. It is a very nice hotel, right on the trail, within walking distance of downtown St. Charles.
