It is spring and all of the questions for trip planning are coming in now. I would suggest, Ray you post a new heading in trip planner. "Katy in a Week" with all the suggested B&Bs using a 40-50 mile day in both directions including the prices with a 5% fee for you, is an option. Then a bike and luggage packing list and bike choices would be nice too.
Could help possibly.

Sounds like a fantastic idea!!

That would be a tremendous help! A friend and I are planning to ride the Katy Trail, Clinton to Machens, for the first time in mid-June. We are really just recreational bikers and 40-45 miles a day will be a stretch for us, but we figure brew-co to brew-co will properly motivate us to keep going!! I would love someone's take who has done it before.

The suggestion that you do the Katy in a week with about 40 mpday in both directions, with B&Bs..would be huge!

Agree with the gentleman from PA.

Its 3 good days of 65-85 each to ride one direction. If you turned right around you'd be - obviously - looking at 6 days.

My last one way trip included days of 104 (Clinton to Hartsburg) 50 (Hartsburg to Rhineland) and 67 (Rhineland to St. Charles)

Planning another one in a few weeks that will go Clinton to Boonville, Boonville to Rhineland and Rhineland to St. Charles. Shortest day is about 65 as I recall.

I'm planning a 3 day with Clinton-Rocheport, Rocheport-McKittrick, McKittrick-Machens in late June. Good places to stop with nice and hot and sunny days. My kind of ride.
