As everyone knows already the bar has been purchased by a couple Mel and Kelly Atteberry. There plans are to keep everything the same and the name of the bar will be Mokane Bar&Grill LLC. These people are very much down to earth and they are very friendly. So as you travel through our wonderful town stop by and welcome them.

while taking a lunch break in Mokane today, I spoke with a relative of the previous operators of the Mokane Bar & Grill. The word is that the sale did not go through and there are no current plans on reopening.

It is not the same as when the previous owners had it open. At all. Food prices went up, and you get less food, like half of what Cynthia's portions were. Ripoff. And they cut the fish in half. I wouldn't waste my time or money on the food.

Riverrat, why don't you make productive use of your energy by opening your own bar and grill, giving them a run for their money, and keeping your mouth shut?

The old prices and portions were so lucrative for the previous owners that they are no longer in business??? Maybe the new owners would like to stay in business for awhile instead of giving away the store.

funny thing is,,,The bar is open and I meet Mel and Kelly really nice people. I also had the fish sandwich and yes it was delicious. The only complaint I heard is the bacon cheese burger was to big....and that was from a fire fighter from Fulton he couldnt get his mouth around it.The place was busy and everyone seem to be having a great time and it looked to be the same or very close to the same prices I also paid 2.50 cents for my beer cindy used to charge me 2.75 when i went in there...so hats off to the new owners I want the bar to stay open and I think they are doing a great job

LOL I feel rather foolish for not knowing the names of the new owners. After looking through the posts here I want to say Thank You! to Tome for posting their names. I don't get out and around Like I used to and I stay several weeks behind on the local news. I need to go drink coffee more often at the Mokane Market to keep up on local events. My problem is that my old body does not want to cooperate that early in the morning.

Visited the Mokane Bar & Grill twice last week on my out and back of the trail. Going east I hac the double bacon cheeseburger and cheese fries. this thing was big enough for a family of four, I had plenty in the doggie bag for a snack later that evening at camp. Going back west I stopped again to get food to go on my way to Tebbets. I got the catfish sandwich and chips. The fish was about twice the size of the huge bun it was on. The new owners are very friendly and personable. I wish them the best of luck.

Amazing people and food I would recommend everyone that passes through to order the fish sandwich. Dont order the double this thing is huge but delicious
