First time to Katy Trail in June. Where is a safe spot to park for three or four nites at a trail head? Would like to start in St Charles MO

There's several parking area near the trailhead going west. A friend and I parked our trucks there two years ago but we let the St Charles Police know our vehicles' location and license numbers. Have a good trip.

I would park at the casino. in the parking garage. i did no troubles.
