Having difficulty contacting someone at the MO State fair grounds for camping reservation on May 27 any ideas?

I wouldn't worry about reservations. It is a big area and north of the National Guard Armory. Exit at the Katy West Trail head, turn left on the road for a few hundred yards+/-, then enter the campground. If you set your tent at the lower part of the hill, the restrooms are the red and white buildings through the gate. Someone will collect $10 for camping.
