If you need breakfast while you are in Hartsburg, you will definitely want to stop in at Dotty's Cafe. She makes great omelets and unbelievable blueberry pancakes that are as big as the plate they are serve on. Awesome job Dotty! It was all great!

Dotty's was our stop along the trail this past holiday weekend. Because of the large crowd, they actually ran out of much of the menu offerings and wanted to close early. Then we showed up, and since I had called ahead, Dotty allowed us to come in and she fixed the three of us delicious cheeseburgers and fries anyway. What a great break from the heat, plus a happy ending as we had trouble on the way back to Jeff City with a flat bike tire and a low car tire where we had parked. In the end, Central Dairy in JC melted our troubles away. We will see you again Dotty, Lord willing !!

I had been through Hartsburg a few times, but always was too early or too late. This week I was lucky enough to try their Western Omelet and will now be stopping every time. Great food, service, and value.

It would be really nice to have all the main eating establishments close to the Katy trail listed with days their open and hours so you can plan your day/week accordingly.

Stopped at Dotty's on Saturday. Food and Service were Wonderful and we'll definately stop again.
