My wife and I just finished an extended Memorial Day weekend ride from Jeff City out to Boonville, then back to Tebbetts before catching the train back to St. Louis. Stayed at the hostel in Tebbetts and it was a helluva bargain for $5 a night. Complete with cold A/C, hot water showers, and a roof over our head. Beat staying in the tent another night. Making Tebbetts even more enjoyable was that we lucked out because the bar across the street was open and we finished the day with a couple of cold beverages on a hot day. Jim's Bar is open Sundays & Wednesdays. Jim's a fun-loving character and a great host.
