Planning a 100 mile ride for later in the summer which will end in N. Jefferson City. May have a couple of hours to kill until I am picked up. What are the best options for someplace close to the N. Jefferson trailhead to get a frosty beverage and chill out waiting for my ride?

Take the new bike/pedestrian bridge over to JC and stop at Paddy Malones on West Main street. Great food and an excellent beer selection.

There is Turkey Creek Golf Center less than half a mile from the trailhead in N. Jefferson. They have minigolf and refreshments. http://www.turkeycreekgolfcenter.com/
