Stopped here on the jamboree ride. Understand they were on overload due to the crowd but was this not the 4 th jamboree? So they knew what to expect? So isn't not have a pot of pulled pork ready, dozens of hotdogs and hamburgers ready instead of cooking one order at a time? Worse service on the trail, rude employees and can't comment on the food because we gave up after an hour and got our money back! Next year little Cafe....be ready for the crowd IF you want the business! If not, close up! Don't waste our time!

Are you talking about the Trailside Cafe in Rocheport? If you are, we didn't find it enjoyable to wait either. We were there on Tuesday the 22nd of May, and it took a long time to get our food order taken and to receive the food after. And they only had one person order before us. Slow, slow, slow. Although the food tasted good after the long wait.

I also made the big mistake of going to the Trailside Cafe on Saturday durng the Peddler's Jamboree. After waiting over an hour on my order I inquired about my food to find they had lost my ticket. When I asked for a refund the employee had an attitude.

On the return trip Sunday, I tried the Rochport BBQ direcrtly behind the trailside cafe and found fast service, good food, and great people.

Yeah I have to say I would never stop here again. They booted us out on Sunday night at 6:55pm. The burger was overpriced and overcooked. Nothing was good about it.

After several stops, several food order, several attempts to be polite and decent...I gave up on them. I have found them to be rude and unresponsive even when they aren't busy. They won't get another dime of my money.

just after the railroad tunnel going into Rocheport is a new place that is offering wood fire pizzas plus a wine & beer license. I talked to the owner while he was finishing the brickwork. It should be open very soon and give another food alternative to the TrailSide Cafe. Competion is a good thing cause the quality of food & service has gone way done @ Trailside which is a shame.
