I am thinking of riding the Katy trail sometime this summer and was hoping to find someone/people to do it with just so i dont have to be alone incase of issues, I plan on staying in a hotel/bed and breakfast but not looking for a roommate just day time riding partner(s).

Also anyone ever use Amtrak from Lees summit to Sedalia ? also where would you pick it back up to get back to lees summit ? I was just going to do the trail 1 way for now becuase i only can do it over a weekend.

Not that it matters but i am a 37 year old easy going guy that is somewhat new to biking with in the last couple years and not out to prove anything like speed records just want the exercise/challange and to see the scenery.
