Travelling out of Rocheport this weekend in party with folks of different skill levels. Plan to keep in touch by cell phone. Any idea of cell reception within 25 miles either side of Rocheport?

A lot depends on the service provider and the phone itself. You might want to check the service providers cell coverage maps and keep in mind one phone might have several bars and another only one bar in the same coverage area.

Texts travel better than calls in low reception areas. That may be an option if you've poor reception.

When I was with Sprint, I had very little coverage. I've had much better coverage with AT&T.
