I had a wonderful overnight stay at Joey's Bird Bouse B&B - McKittrick, MO this summer. Nice quiet room, comfortable bed, and plenty of "after-the-ride" snacks and beverages. I strongly suggest a morning omlette made from Joey's "friendy chickens" eggs left in the fridge, along with the homemade jam and toast. I highly recommend the B&B, and plan to stay there again when convenient.

Definately will stay here again. Joey and Rich were great and we got to relax and enjoy our stay without worrying about anything.

Thanks to you all, being a B&B owner has been very enjoyable. I keep learning new things. Had my nephew pick up bags of black walnuts we'll see if we can work those into the pastries with the pears. Delicious fall bounty along the trail.

My boyfriend, Jeff, and I are still talking about the wonderful food that Joey served us on our first Katy Trail ride. We were lucky to try out the cafe right after it opened and came back for a 2nd day for another great meal. Joey is a wonderful cook, preparing meals using locally-sourced ingredients and herbs. Rich was extremely hospitable and enjoyable to talk with. We are letting others know to stop by for a meal when they are in McKittrick!
