I see many of the out of towners are needing detail information about the trail for their fall rides. This years new four sided folded brochure (at the trailheads) can answer many of your questions or direct you to where you can get the answers based on Missouri DNR parks information. Examples are the history, detail trail through many of the larger towns, the spurs and overlook trails off the trail to get you to the larger towns, exhibit stop locations, what trailheads have water, different management sections. But mind you, B&Bs, wineries and restaurants are on this website. I would go to katytrailstateparks.com and order a brochure. Will answer many questions and give you new ones too. Good job as always DNR folks.

Now if we could just get the next version of the map to fold nicely into a map case...

Well since map cases are not standard, they come in dozens of differnt sizes, that would be a pretty tall order. I have three map cases myself, all are a different size...

does anyone know if a pdf of the brochure is available online?
I did not see a link to a pdf on the state park's Katy page. Looking forward to my four days on the trail in 2 weeks!

What I do is go to:

http://mostateparks.com/page/57750/entire-trail

You can click on the different sections of the whole trail map. Then save the picture to your computer, then size it and print to fit my handlebar bag map case or other map case.
