Volunteer Park

We stayed at the volunteer park over Labor Day. Thank you to the citizens who allow us to camp for free. We enjoyed the live music while preparing dinner. Cute, friendly town. Would stay again.

Hartsburg is a great place...I've stayed there a few times and its always been a highlight of my trip.

are there restrooms at volunteer park? Can we have a camp fire there?

Since no one has responded, I'll try to help with what I recall. I believe fires are in the permanent BBQ pits only. Not sure about about restrooms in the park, but you'll only be 50 yards more or less from the trailhead restrooms anyway.
