I was riding the trail near the
I-40-64 bridge today. I encountered a pickup truck driving on the trail. He did not move over and stop like State vehicles do. I was pushed to the side of the trail. After I stopped he backed up to me.
Long story short---he showed me a permit to drive on the trail between mile 48 and 56. He said he was working on a project by the Boone Bridge.
Watch out for them---they don't watch out for you!
