We started our Katy Trail ride in Sedalia last Saturday, arriving on the early Amtrak train. We loved this historic hotel and we enjoyed the breakfast; but most of all we enjoyed how accommodating they were with our bicycles, even allowing them to sit in the beautiful library as we would be needing them again in a little while. Book directly with them and you will get a biker discount.

We stayed there after Labor Day and as you say they were very gracious!! They locked up our tandem in the coffee shop or breakfast area. Great place to stay!! Very viler friendly!!

Incredibly bike-friendly! And great location for Katy cyclistsn -- no need to share the highways going through town with motorists.
