How could i organize a walk/run on katy trail?

Contact the MO DNR about getting a special use permit first to make sure that it will be allowed, then proceed with the other organizing. There is no need to organize the Katy event to find out in the eleventh hour that you can't do it as planned.

Big River Running has a "race management" page that has a checklist of things you should do/consider if you want to try to organize a race.
