We were traveling the Katy in June. We ended up in McKittrick with plans to camp. The folks at Joey's offered their yard for free but we elected to stay in their B&B. It was great. What hospitality. A great dinner in their kitchen, a cold beer, and good conversation. It was a fine evening on the trail.
