For you folks who may be using the Katy in the St. Charles area on Sunday, Nov. 18, we wanted to let you know that a small section of the trail will be closed very briefly. The portion of trail that runs under the I-70 Blanchette Bridge will be closed from about 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. while highway crews blast a section of steel truss under the westbound bridge. This is part of ongoing rehabilitation work on the Blanchette Bridge. Please avoid this area of the Katy Trail until the blasting is finished.

We have another temporary trail closure for the section of Katy Trail that runs under I-70 Blanchette Bridge in St. Charles. This section of trail will be closed from about 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4, while highway crews blast two sections of steel truss under the westbound bridge. Trail users will need to avoid this area of the Katy Trail until blasting is finished.
