Planning a Katy walk starting in St. Charles and ending in McBain/Columbia end of May for 8 days. This is our first walk of such and would appreciate any suggestions offered. Will be staying in B&Bs during trip. Any must see or do?

I suggest at Jefferson City you cross the bike/pedestrian bridge over the Missouri River and tour the Missouri State Capital Building and while you are close, cross the street and have an Arris' supreme pizza.
