There will be a fried chicken dinner on May 27th in Tebbetts with proceeds going to support the Missouri Conservation Federation's Turner Katy Trail Shelter. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased from Dave Steinmeyer (573-634-4038) or Charles Davidson (573-496-3986) or can be purchased at the door. The $8 will get you country fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, homemade biscuits, dessert and drink. The meal will be served from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm at the Tebbetts Community Hall. The hall is located on the south side of Hwy 94 just before the turnoff for the Tebbetts trailhead. Based on my past experience they sometimes run out of meals towards the end of the day so I wouldn't wait til the very end to show up.
