While riding from Boonville to Jefferson City, we had already stopped at Rocheport for lunch, but wanted to visit Dotty's for a snack. As we arrived, we began a conversation with some folks who were just leaving, then realized we were past Dotty's closing time. As we began to get back on our bikes to try another restaurant, Dotty came out the front door and told us to come in and she would make us something to eat, burgers or dessert. We all settled on the blackberry cobbler with ice cream and it was the best we had ever had.
