How many ride the Katy on a recumbent tadpole trike? I'd like to hear how your trike is set up; what size and type of tires, tubes and if you use flat prevention liners such as Mr. Tuffy?

Thanks

Ive ridden the trail a few times on my old catrike. Overall i did not change anything. I like primo comet tires and have never had a flat. Only thing i recomend is to bring a few extra tubes, since recumbent wheels are sometimes an odd size. Also fenders are nice. The trail is sometimes light and dusty and you will end up covered in dust and dirt.

I rode a TerraTrike Rover 8 from the Mo Research Center to Columbia and had Big Apple tires with tuffy liners - with no flats. I've since put Big Apple tires with tuffies on my Catrike Expedition and plan to ride the entire trail this summer. I suspect the wider BA's may be particularly helpful with any softer areas remaining after the flooding.
