I'll be riding through Hartsburg on Labor Day Monday 2013. It looks like none of the restaurants are open on Mondays. Is that true? Will there be anywhere to eat or get food in Hartsburg? Thanks.

The Hitching Post may be open for pizza and beer, but I would bring food along to be safe.

Thank you! Not sure how I missed that. I called to verify they'd be open on the holiday, and they will be. You're right though...some onboard food is probably a good idea just in case.

Now I remember why I discounted The Hitching Post--Yelp says it's closed. I guess that's outdated.
