The most convenient is the Augusta Brewery as it is right off the trail so it gets a lot of business. They have several mocrobrew beers and a really good home made root beer, (Rocket Rootbeer) but IMO the menu is very sparce and the food is very ho-hum.
The few options for dining in the town of Augusta are not very good IMO and\or may not be open plus you have a huge long hill to climb to get into town.
If you are coming from the North, just before Defiance there is a great place calle Wine Country Gardens, (lunch hours only and have to look for the gravel road to turn on that crosses the trail about 1 mi. before Defiance). Great food and atmpsphere.
Defiance has a decent place, (The Defiance Roadhouse).
Your other options off the trail past Augusta are in Dutzow, the Dutzow Deli which is ok \ basic IMO or a burger\brat at Blumenhoff winerty approx 1/4 mi up the road on 94 (bikeable) from there. They also have a steep trail through the woods off the trail just before coming into Dutzow).
