The whole shebang

Hey guys I am planning on biking the whole trail from 8/28-9/2. I am going to tent camp but it seems like camping areas (especially free ones) are pretty scarce. Advice? Any sites not listed?

There are 3 primitive campsites operated by the Jefferson City Parks & Rec at the Carl Noren river access under the bridge into Jefferson City. They are $5 a night. The camp sites are very easy to get to from the trail.

The Jefferson City waste treatment plant is just east of the Carl Noren river access. You will be OK there as long as the prevailing winds blow west to east but you will be in for an early morning surprise if the winds shift to the other direction.
