Doug is amazing -- after finding out I could not camp I headed towards his B n B. I had already hiked 25 miles that day and was hot and tired so I called him to see if I could come and day early and if he could come and get me. He said yes to both -- he saved my life -- my only options were to walk till I dropped or got to his place. He was more that willing to come get me and the ride was not expensive well worth it. He made a wonderful dinner and breakfast. The room was fine -- he was a very down to earth and easy to talk to. My favorite part of this place was the hike up the bluff to overlook the river and what I had been and would hike past. Thanks to the very nice, helpful young man next door for being my tour up the bluff and for the ice cream -- great kid. And many thanks to Doug for taking me in a day early -- I surely didn't want to have to camp alongside the highway or hike all night long. Doug's dogs are great too very friendly.

Thanks Tammi. Dylon and his family are fantastic. There are thousands like him around but we only hear about the ten deadbeats on the news, so it is great to see the appreciation showing up here. The good ones need to know people DO care.
