I am planning to ride the entire trail from Clinton to Machens middle October. I have not planned out the daily course of events and stops yet, but would like to stop near Boonville and Columbia and then maybe Jeff City and Hermann. I have rode some in those areas. Any suggestions and at this point it will just be myself. I have a new Trek Verve 3, that I have rode 30 and 40 miles on in a day, but plan on riding 50 a day or so. I will have extra inner tubes and repair kit, too. And lots of water, a camelback, etc. Any suggestions of where to stay, stop, etc. I will NOT be camping outside. B&B or hotels, please!

Bring a spare tire. I had a tire explode once and it couldn't be repaired. I had to borrow a tire from another rider.
