A FRIEND AND MYSELF WILL BE RIDING KATY TRAIL THROUGH BOONVILLE SOMETIME AROUND OCT 14. WHAT IS THE CHEAPEST HOTEL IN BOONVILLE OR SOMEWHERE CLOSE ALONG THE TRAIL? ALL WE WANT IS QUIET AND CLEAN,NOTHING FANTSY NEEDED

The cheapest would be the Super 8 a couple miles from the trail ($50). The Casino hotel is right on the trail ($80). I have stayed at the Hotel Frederick and the High Street Victorian B&B but I usually go 3 miles past Boonville and camp at the Roundhouse.

I think the Casino has some type of Player's Club deal for $99 that includes a buffet. I don't know the details of that, but it would be worth checking out. The Katy Trail goes through the Casino's parking lot.

If you want to go really cheap, camp at Katy Roundhouse in New Franklin.

Just stayed at the Boonville, MO Super 8 motel this past Tuesday night, nice everything except mold in the bathroom, the Days Inn is close by and is said to cost even less and might not have mold, I'd ask ahead.
