I have been reading the forum about Amtrak's trailer policy, and someone mentioned that panniers, trunk bags, handlebar bags, etc count against the 2 bag carry on limit.

I have two panniers, trunk bag, and a small handlebar bag and I was concerned about being stopped as I board the train. Also, does Amtrak require you to remove these bags from your bike when it is on the train?

Just curious what other riders experiences have been.

Thanks!

Amtrack is so picky, I would actually call them and get an answer from the "horse's mouth" on this.
