We will be starting at N. Jefferson City next month for an over night trip. Does anyone have suggestions of where it is safe to leave my car over night?

I've left the car several times at the trailhead in Hartsburg. North Jefferson trailhead doesn't get good reviews here. If you are staying the night in Jefferson City, maybe your hotel will let you leave your car there for an extra night.
