Is it possible to ride along Highway 94 as an alternative to the Katy trail? Has anyone ever ridden the Lewis and Clark bicycle trail from booneville to Jefferson City? Trying to find an alternate route and don’t know if this is possible and safe. Thanks.

We had to briefly ride on 94 highway on Thursday. It had no shoulder and was very hilly and curvy...the section we rode anyway. 94 was flooded in places between St.Charles and McKittrick.

On Saturday Hwy 94 is closed at Jefferson City; it's underwater.

I would not recommend riding Hwy 94. Way too trafficky for my taste.
