Does anyone know if the Katy Trail is closed between Defiance and Augusta due to flooding?

Hi Diane,
From what I understand that section is open, however the bridge was "washed out" right at the section preceding the park forcing trail users to go in to Klondike Park and getting back on the trail on the other side. Which wouldn't be bad except that hill going into the park is BIG...

The bridge wasn't washed out. They were in the process of replacing it before the flooding.
