Stayed here based on the reviews, and all of the good comments just don’t do it justice. A very comfortable clean place to stay. And the host cannot be any nicer.

Fantastic and hospitable owner. She let me check in early since a clean room was available. Extremely clean, simple rooms. Internet is great. Scalding hot water. Nice little book to give you info on things to do in town. Really happy I stopped here. Owner set the AC super low, which was very nice! Little hangout areas and a grill. Would definitely stay again.

Echoing what everyone else said: Clean, friendly, convenient, comfortable. I stayed Saturday night and the sign said "no vacancy" so consider making reservations.

I stayed at the Crossroads motel last Monday. It was very good. Plane but very clean. The host April was very good at her job. Will stay there every time I ride the trail.

We stayed there in August. April offered to wash our bike clothes and drove us to/from town to get dinner
Small, but very nice motel. Great rates

Is there still no Verizon Service and no one to answer phones at the front desk? Phones in the rooms?

Called ahead by a couple of hours, with an late (after 9pm) arrival coming in from KC on RIT. They accommodated my arrival time. Room was clean and comfortable. It is close to the trail and would definitely stay there again.
Thank you for a clean, comfortable place!

Just stayed there last Thursday night, 3/29. Rode in late from Pleasant Hill due to the weather, soft areas on the trail east of Chilhowee, and a bum knee and didn't arrive until 7:30. The owner was really nice and waited for me. I was in room 2--newly remodeled and just fine--and very reasonably priced at $55 for the night. I recommend it.

Easy access to the KATY Trail from the motel. Windsor Rd/County Line Rd. is next to the motel and is a direct route to intersect the trail. Only 0.6 of a mile. Without the traffic on Main St./52 Hwy

I highly recommend Windsor Crossroads Motel! We were planning to camp in Farrington Park but after a tough ride from Pleasant Hill (wind and gravel) we needed a little more comfort. The caretaker was so friendly and helpful. We had called ahead to reserve a room. She was out when we got there but she left a room open for us. The motel is clean and comfortable and has free wifi.

Nice older style Motel. We were the only guests. A lot of rehab has been done. The electronics are top notch. A T-Storm delayed our departure by 2 hours, owners very understanding.

My two friends and I rode the entire trail from Clinton to Saint Charles. We stayed here the first night and it was great to get a few miles under our belt after the long van ride to Clinton. This was a great place to stay. Nice people, very clean and comfortable.

Agreed. This was a clean, comfortable motel that can't be beat for the price. Note that the front desk isn't always manned. There is a phone number to call if you need to check in and no one is at the desk. I couldn't get service from Verizon, so I would suggest you call from the trailhead to ensure someone is there to check you in.

Stayed here for a weekend ride to Boonville. Owners are doing some rehab work, but rooms are clean and efficient for a good night's rest before a day of cycling. No continental Breakfast or cable TV, but for $43 one can't ask for much more. Would definitely stay here again. Word of warning to Verizon customers: Verizon coverage is spotty to non existent in town, so contacting the owners was a bit of a challenge for us.

I stayed at the Windsor Crossroads Motel last week and wanted to compliment the owners on the clean, good looking rooms. Fast internet, good Dish TV, great heat pump!

My dad and I completed the whole trail last September (2012) from Clinton to Machens. The Crossroads motel was our first nights stay. Very clean, comfortable and smoke free. For the price it was the best deal on the trail. Highly recommend.
