Acorn Ridge B&B in Augusta

Acorn Ridge B&B and the town of Augusta were two of the high points of my Katy Trail ride. I arrived at the end of a windy and rainy 85 mile day, and Katarina was kind enough to drive me to the restaurant to get some food. I probably looked like I wouldn't make it there and back on foot! The room was huge and the bed was quite comfortable. Also, high recommendations for the local coffee shop. Augusta was a real find.

What a lovely B&B Acron Ridge is! The owners - Natasha and Mike - are darling and very welcoming. The bedroom was large and the king bed very comfortable. It was also very nice to have a bathroom with such a sizable shower. The shampoo and lotion were fragrant. The cookies were freshly baked and ready upon arrival - yum. And breakfast was A+ Candied bacon --- delicious!

King beds were a bonus, we used hot tub after 80 miles on bike, that was nice. Very clean. Good breakfast. Nice front porch for happy hour or coffee. Good lcoation.

Beautiful home and very friendly hosts. I had a very spacious room, and enjoyed relaxing on the front porch and strolling about the town. They allowed me to use the kitchen to make a sandwich for dinner and snacks for the trail the next day. Hope to go back again!

We stayed in the Acorn Ridge B&B in Augusta while cycling the Katy Trail last week. They are approximately 1/2 mile from the trail. Mike helped us to get the bikes in their shed and offered us Gatorade and home made cookies. They were flexible with our breakfast time which allowed us to get on the trail early. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Two of the members of our group do not eat pork, so the breakfast dish was modified for them.
Mike and Natasha have thought of everything. The house is beautiful, the beds are comfortable - they are very gracious hosts. Next time we stay in Augusta, we'll definitely stay there.
